crankcase vent question

How long would it take to damage rings and flywheel seal if the crankcase vent was accidently plugged?

Not sure you would experience piston ring damage.

Oil will find it's way out of the crankcase via the weakest gasketed/sealed joint. Could be a crank seal but also through a hose connection or a valve cover gasket.

If you inadvertantly and temporarily plugged the crankcase vent and you haven't experienced any leaks, you're probably safe.

You woudl probably push some seals out, whichever is easiest for the blowby to move first.
