3.0 with 98mm pistons
Maybe this has been answered, but can 3.0 cis cylinders be succesfully overbored for the JE 98mm pistons?

Dennis,
The 95mm jugs from a 3.0 have the seal ring groove on top (between the cylinders and the head), the 95mm jugs from the 3.2 don't. Taking 1.5 mm off the bore radius) wouldn't leave a whole lot of material between the seal ring and the combustion chamber. What are you cooking? |

Lookin at a 3.0 in pieces for a decent price. If I do it, I will need to minimize my costs to a ridiculous level, although I will have 2 1/2 early engines to sell to help pay for the costs associated with this one. This would allow me to put my 2.7RS in the T and build a 3.2 or 3.4 for the E muhahahahahahah with MFI of course
and I know my car will burn to the ground in thrown hammer style ![]() Maybe then I should call the E simply the B!tch!

which is why Guy@ebsracing is always posting that he wants unbored 3.2 cylinders on the for sale & wanted forum, so he can do this.
