Ring end gap

Hello,
I am concerned that my ring gap is off for the second compression rings. All of my cylinders are size 0 and the upper ring and oil ring are with in tolerance according to my Haynes 911 book, but the second ring should be .15-.35mm and it is actually around .56mm (I stopped measuring after the tolerance was exceeded by so far). Is this normal? My rings are Goetze stock for a 2.7L 90mm.
Thanks,
Mike

I think that I found the answer that I was looking for. It was in Appendix A. It said that 1.00 mm is the limit. I thought it was wierd that there is a stated tolerance in all of the pubs, but there is a final tolerance that is different from the stated range. Still learning...

the ring to land clearance should also be speced.

Ronin,
those specs were perfect, luckily.
Thanks,
Mike
