Wink Hot Body

Are MFI Throttle bodies/manifolds cast from Aluminum or Magnesium?
Want to do some tig welding and don't want a fireworks show.

They are Magnesium.

You can weld Magnesium, or have it welded.

Yeah, make a box of Argon to work in, clean well with diegrinder and degreaser, repeatedly, in box.. use the correct rods, gas weld or TIG...

I like gas...

You can't join aluminum with magnisium though; can you?
