911 Exhaust question

I have rebuilt a 1980 911SC 3.0 engine (almost complete actually) and I am now wondering which muffler I should purchase to hook up to my beautiful SSI's?

This car will be a DE then a PCA G stock racer in time. Does anyone have suggestions for the muffler? I hear Monte thrown around a good bit. Any others?

monty fits well, has a nice tone, and doesn't drone like the other ones.

You might consider Dansk as well. I have a 2 out with 84mm tips and it doesn't drone. Everyone will offer different opinions, the ideal case would be to try and drive cars with the different mufflers. Haven't heard a Monty, but saw them on display at GAF from AASCO and they look well made.

John at SSI used to recommend Dansk mufflers with SSI's but now he seems to recommend Monty. I purely speculate that it has nothing to do with power or longevity but more because Dansk has become a direct competitor with their own stainless heat exchangers. If I were in his shoes, I probably wouldn't want to tout the competition either.
