What year 930 has a 3 bolt pilot bearing?

Apparently my 79 930 does not have a 79 crank in it because twice now I've gotten the wrong the pilot bearing (and the second time I told them I needed a three bolt bearing ). Anyone know what year Porsche started using a three bolt pilot bearing in a 930?

Pilot bearings

I'm fairly certain the 3 bolt design was first used in 1980. Dan

After a bit more research, it appears that the 3 bolt pilot bearing was first used on the 930 in mid 1979. I guess that explains the confusion with my 79 model.

79 is a transition year in many ways for the 930 motor. Keep that in mind when you order other parts for your car.
