RS engine info ?
 

Hello the Pro !
I want to rebuild my 2.7 cis to RS spec. and I want more information about it...
presently my engine is a 2.7 1974 with cis pistons and cams with weber, I buy from a pelican member RS pistons and solex cams
i have to port the heads to 36 mm. for my project,
my question is :
do I have to port my intake for weber or I have to change for bigger...?

Hi Raynald

I've just finished building the exact same motor... except I went with S cams rather than Solex.

I chose to port the intake runners out to 36mm. Try and have your machinist do them at the same time he does the heads so he can "match port" them.
