Hey Guys,

Just wanted to throw out my .02 worth on Henry at Supertec in Costa Mesa.......

If you have any engine issues with your 911 big or small, take it to Henry, i was referred to him by this board by several guys that swore by him, and since he is 2 miles from my house i went right over.

1st I am not a mechanic in the least, yet Henry was kind enough to listen to my elementry questions and interest in understanding what he was explaining, was patient and took his time in explaining his expertise in laymans terms so i could try and understand.

i told Henry of my needs and he was able to exceed my expectations without a hesitation, i didnt feel like he was trying to sell me or lead me, HE LISTENED TO WHAT I WANTED and didnt skip a beat in delivering.... WHAT A RELIEF to come across someone that was a regular guy that really knows his stuff and can deliver.

Just in case someone out there is looking for a new mech and is as nervous as i was, GO to henry at supertec.

Its always good to hear postive reactions to good service. All too many times we complain about about the bad and never reward the good.

As I wrestle with whether to redo my motor this winter, he is definetley one option I'm considering. IF I go thru, and IF I don't attempt it myself. He posts quite a bit here, so in addition to his "day job", this shows his love of the Brand.

he is all porsche all the time..... you would do yourself a favor.... (you should see some of the engines he is building in his shop, WOW)

The prices that Henry quotes are not much more than what it will cost you to DIY. I thought I could save $1000-$1500 and space the cost out a little better by trying to do my motor myself. Turns out that its going to end up costing me almost exactly what Henry had quoted me to rebuild the engine right the first time with a guarantee and a 30 day turn around. The contributions he makes to this board are pretty incredible also.

I suspect had I not lived over here in Australia, I might well have had him build my engine...
