parts back from the machine shop
 

went over yesterday to pick em up
all fully heads revisioned, including repair to 2 heads with cracks, case rebored to original spec, oil bypass and some minor surgery on couple of studs ( not headstuds)
rods rebushed, and crank micropolished
also a new set of 2.4 P&C's

Wow! Looks great. They did your case right.

yeah , i'm now spending most my time cleaning up the outside
there's still old paint on the bottom halves of the case

copper wire brush works very well on that , a bit too well, cause it polishes the magnesium on some off the areas...:rolleyes: not intentionally , but the way it's going , i'll end up with a bling zebra pattern on the case...

i just hope it turns grey real soon
