bown 930 3.5 twin plug engine !! help
 

i am in trouble...overrevved my 930 turbo cab 1988'...it has twin plug heads,3.5 liter mahle pistons and cylinders.... i have 2 pistons and 2 sleeves that need replacing. i am not able to find just 2 pistons/cylindrrs,everyone wants to sell me a kit of 6... too expensive,. anyone has used parts or know of anyone with used parts or partially used kit...or simply leftovers ??
they are 100 mm pistons...

try engine builder's supply.

they carry misc parts new or used for 911 turbo?

I just bought a couple new 100mm 3.5 turbo p&c's from Andial to replace 2 damaged ones on my engine. Give them a call they should have what you need on the self.

did they sell you 2 units or did you have to buy 6 units?? if you have leftovers from your old set,i would buy 2 from you now...

Sounds like he "just bought a couple" (not 6).

this problem is making me sick ! rennsport has the parts i need but wont part with them,he needs them as spares.... i called andial,they are checking... someone help !

Check with all your regional porsche shops, they may have a nice used set you can pick from.

Since one of my cylinders was scratched but everything else in spec I picked up a decent 930 jug at a nearby shop for a reasonable price.

With 100 mm cylinders that may not be as easy for you though.

JE can probably make you a set of replacement pistons...

Millenium Technologies, or US Chrome should be able to refinish them to original specs,cheers,Antonio.
