Where Do These Wires Go?

I am putting my 81 911SC back together after a top end rebuilt. I've got all of the wires connected except these two - one brown, one red/white stripe. I cannot find anywhere to plug them in. Any suggestions? Should these connected to anything?http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1101265091.jpg

Those appear to be the wires that run to the heater blower motor in the engine compartment.

From memory mind you.

The wires to the heater blower are brown and yellow w/ black tracer.
The wires you are asking about go to a thermal vacuum switch. I am just guessing but if I remember correctly it has to do with enrichment vacuum to the warm-up regulator.
If some one out there has a wiring diagram perhaps they could check for you.
Good luck.

Henry,

You are correct. The wiring diagram in the Bentley manual show these colored wires going to the warm up regulator and the supplementary air valve. Now I just have to find it. Thanks.

HMMM, I don't have one of those.
Am I supposed to have one on a 1980 SC, and if so where is it supposed to be located?
Thanks.

follow the vacuum hose off the top of the WUR to find the thermo-valve. if you have one, it hangs off the left side of the mount for the heater blower motor. if your engine is supposed to have one and it's been removed, that may be why it's cold blooded and cranky on a cold start/run, and you did'nt really have to knock down the pin in the WUR after all.

Remember, everone else who has replied knows better than I, but are those plugs or solid ends? For whatever reason, they look like the back-up light wires to me.
