I always wondered how that was done. What controls the motion of the table, is it a master cam or cnc? Thanks for the post.

The Berco camgrinder uses a master plate. The 911 requires 4 seperate master plates to grind both camshafts.

CAn you fix cams that are pitted on a few lobes?

Yes I can fix cams with pitting. If the pits are severe the lobes can be hardwelded.

Is this the new or new to you machine? That's awesome! I only have seen crank grinders in action so far and they are a lot slower and less exciting to watch. ;)

I agree, crank grinding is less exciting to watch or to do.
