Beneath the oil holes in the bearings, should the case holes be visibly deep 69 mag?

After removing the bearings on the left case for inspection, all I see are faint round circles on the case. Are there suppose to be deep case bearing holes in the left case half? (1969 mag. case)

Thanks!

I check the exploded diagrams early 911s here at the Pelican site, and I can only see shadows at the bearing seats. In the Performance Handbook, I'm not sure if I'm looking at the bearing shells, or the bearing seats.

So I'm still uncertain as to the nature, depth, and/or existence of these bearing oil seat holes, on the left case half for 1969 911 E.

Thanks Peter. Now at least I won't go "tilting windmills."

Thanks for the photos.
