engine rebuild I live close to Seattle WA. and am interested in contacting a machine shop and or rebuilder for my 69 911 engine,. I am not opposed to sending it out but would prefer a local shop, if I can't find some one who is willing to talk with me about my options I may just do the rebuild myself but would need a reliable machine shop ,. I have found most shops won't talk ,they just want me to drop it off and come back when done ,then spring the bill on me and thats BS,. I am a professional machanic but have never done a porsche engine,. thanks Rob |

Wayne is right, You can do it yourself easily. His book is great and there is endless advice and answers on this forum. I use his book every time, more than the manuals!! You could always get JW to do the machine work and assemble the motor yourself. Jeff |

Jerry at Northwest Connecting Rod also does very good work. You can reach him at 206-763-2487. |
