pp.130-131 the small green oil pump seals...firm or supple FPM type?

I stocked up and got extra small green round oil pump seals when at the dealer. The ones in the large gasket kit, that I purchased elsewhere, are a more firm green sealer ring, but the ones from the dealer are more supple and soft.

Both are green types, the dealers have FPM stamped on them. Which are best?

There is such a thing as over-thought. Particularly on these seals, it's not a huge deal, as they can be semi-easily replaced with the engine in the car...

The oil pump seals can be replaced with the engine in the car?! The engine has to split for these seals... am I thinking of the right ones?

YES. they are the ones inside the case! Not the oil cooler seals!
