Can piston squirters be disabled/enabled?

Some experts say the Nikasil cyls do not break in properly with piston squirters thus don't recommend them, so rather than removing them altogether as I would like to use them after breaking in, I wonder if a disabling/enabling switch can be connected to the circuit of piston squirters?

TIA

I have never herd a expert say that.......mabe a wanabe expert??Anyway they are preasure acitvated so there is no way to turn them on and off.You want to break your eng.in on the loaded side so I see no other way to do it ,,the squirters are needed for cooling not oiling.

I also disagree with the opinion.

I would mentally "uncheck" the Expert box beside anyone who said that.
