May you help me to identify 2.2 pistons ?
left : "S" pistons
right : supposed to be "E" Pistons ?

From the pics it appears the left piston has deeper valve pockets and should be the S. I didn't think the valve reliefs had that much area for an E piston.

What is the circular spot on the right piston? Did a valve make contact?

yes the valve hit slightly the piston
