				935 Crankshaft question

The "3.0 Carrera" case I was hoping to buy turned out to be an '83 SC case. I have found someone with a brand new 935 crank that they're willing to sell. They said it's got a 66mm stroke and will fit in a 3.0SC case or 3.2 case. Henry or anyone else on Pelican, do any of you have experience with building a motor with one of these cranks? Is this engine combination possible? Thanks!

I think these are commonly referred to as the "962 Crankshafts." I'll have to check my Porsche documents to see what the 935 ran - I'm not sure off the top of my head. How much are they asking? -Wayne

Wayne, the asking price was $2500, which seems very reasonable. It's a bit outside my budget. If you're interested let me know and I can email the contact info to you.
