Too bad you didn't move to TX when you just relocated. :)

BURN-BROS 03-17-2005 06:05 AM

Jamie, thinking of getting out of nanotech....stuff?(whatever it is that you do?) :)

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get in and learn how to do it right. Henry even gets up early to make chilli for his guys. That alone should seal the deal!

If you were in Or or WA where the equitiy in my house would pay off the next....it would be fun.

jpnovak 03-17-2005 07:21 AM

Aaron, I just think an opportunity to learn from one of the best in the business does not come up often. I have thought about getting out of my field many times. But then what would I do to relax away from work... Right now, turning wrenches is my escape from the real-world.

OK back to Henry's Classified ad.

Darn Henry, if you were in florida I would be very tempted.

Good luck on the search.

Any chance of a spinoff company in the Baton Rouge area? Probably not much of a market here, but I figured Id at least ask. What a great oppurtunity. Im already jealous of whoever takes this job :)

sammyg2 03-19-2005 08:06 AM

I am your guy. If it's not too much to ask, can you please wait until after 8 pm tonight so I can verify I hit the lottery?
That's the only way the wife will let me quit my job and work on Porsches for a living. She just doesn't understand ;)

dweymer 03-19-2005 09:14 AM

I nominate H.G.P; and second the action for a spinoff, maybe Orlando?..

Groesbeck Hurricane 03-23-2005 06:00 AM

Bump, for a very good opportunity!

Henry,

Not that there’s much of a chance of me applying. But how about some of the particulars: pay, health insurance, vacation, etc. I've had some jobs as a parts changer when I was young (heads, water pumps etc), I’ve been to a few diesel rebuild classes (only motor I ever rebuilt was a Cummins straight six), and have wrenched my ’71 a little bit. I have a degree in engineering, not that that means anything. What would you consider starting pay at for a beginner who learns fast? Just curious.
