Engine weight?

Just a quickie...how much does a 1977 3.0 Carrera engine weigh...in kg's...without gearbox but with everything else (altinator, surrounding tins etc)...moving it into my spare bedroom to be 'operated' on soon. Girlfriends not happy! Cheers M

Yeah, you're clear. My lift can take 1.5 tons--about 1360 kg! Not that I'd need it. You could lift a car with it.why? i dunno.

Weights run between 180 kg and 238 kg. With 3L SCs around 210kg.
