Compatible Piston/Cylinder Set?

Hi,

I have been unable to find a replacement equivalent set of pistons and cylinders for my 911T (2.0 110HP). However, whilst searching I have been given sometimes conflicting information that I can instead, simply bolt on a 'L', 'E' or even 'S' set without having to change any other parts or machine anything. This would be great news but before I order an expensive new set, can anyone provide definitive confirmation that this will work? For example I am especially concerned about valve clearance.

The P/Ns I am considering are:

901 103 902 00 (130HP L)
901 103 909 01 (140HP E)
901 103 906 01 (160HP S)

Thanks in advance.

Yes, the L,E and S Pistons and cylindes are a bolt on, and so are the 2.2 T,E and S pistons and cylinders, no machining required. The extra 10% will be a nice boost in HP.

Tim, I am in the process of doing exactly this conversion at the moment. We are taking this a little further and going to 2.2 S piston and cyls along with S cams, and updating the heads to S spec. We did this previously with great results a couple of times in the past.
Regards Mike
