Seeing another thread on MM has prompted me to comment on some of the excellent service and parts I have received from different vendors.
Pelican Parts: Many, many orders ( 944, 944 turbo, 911, and 911 turbo), hard to find parts, very good pricing, excellent shipping, and of course the sponsor of this BBS. PP is the first place I look for all of my Porsche needs. Dougherty Racing Cams, (camgrinder): Excellent communication and advice, fast service, excellent cams. AND when I called to return the cams because the car sold before I had a chance to install them he said OK, full refund. Imagine Auto (Stephen Kaspar): Euro fuel head, K27 and adapter. Quick shipping, excellent parts and good phone support. Again, When the car was sold before the K27 was installed, full refund. A bad vendor can ruin a rebuild, cost thousands of dollars, and leave real bitter feelings. It is such a pleasure to deal with competent and honest people. ( I have no relation to any of these vendors, just a happy customer) ![]()

It would be really great to have a rating system for all of the different vendors used by the members of this forum. Something like the feedback used on ebay.

Ditto on John Dougherty and Pelican. Got my race car cams from the camgrinder and I'm very happy. What can I say about Pelican, lots of parts and tools, good pricing and service. Plus this bulletin board for all of us to talk about and learn about our favorite subject, Porsches. Thanks Wayne and John. You've got my business.
