Side Marker Lights Blowing Fuses
I had all my bumpers and light assemblies off for a paint job and have reassembled everything. All the lights work except the side marker lights, which are the front and back lights that come on when the headlights are on. There are two 5 amp fuses, one for left and one for the right side. The fuses blow the minute I turn on the headlights. I have checked the wiring harness, all connections, bulb sockets and grounds.
Since it is blowing the fuse for the left and right side at the same time, is there something in common other that the light switch I am missing?

For them both to blow I'd check your connections at the lamps. Could be you're running both L+R feeds to earth. Try disconnecting the lives at the lamps and see if the fuses blow. If they don't you know its to do with the lamps. If they do blow then the the fault could be a pinched wire somewhere or an incorrectly wired/faulty switch.
