What type of pistons are these? Pics
Can anyone identify these pistons (not the best pics..sorry). They have a very faint '1' stamped in the middle, and an 'E' near the outside lip. (Both too faint to photgraph...sorry!) They are 'dome' shaped on one half. Also...are they correctly aligned? Pistons 1,2 and 3 have the raised 'dome' part facing the front of the engine/car (First pic). While pistons 4,5 and 6 have this facing the rear (Second pic). Is that correct? Cheers -M
PS..like my porsche special tool for holding the cylinders on? called 'bit of wood with 11mm hole drilled in it'!

THise are CIS pistons, standard.
Next time you can save yourself some trouble and only put 1 sleeve-per cylinder in. That does the trick! John

Cheers for your help John! Question is though... are they correctly installed? (Please be right...I want this thing back on the road before we run out of petrol on this planet!) -Mark
