Cam number Confusion. Pics

Here are my cams on a '77 C3. Left is numbered 147.08 and the Right is 148.08. I'm abit confused by the numbers in Waynes book because (page 207) it says that Carrera CIS 930/02/12 model should have a 147.08 on the left AND on the right...yet my right is numbered 148.08. Am I worrying about nothing here? -Mhttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1119083822.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1119083896.jpg

Porsche part numbers use an odd number in the 3rd to last digit to indicate a left side part i.e. 911.911.91N.00. "N" = odd number for Left parts and even number for right parts.

Left cams are usually numbered xxN.xx where N is an ODD number.
Right cams are usually numbered xxN.xx where N is an EVEN number
Sooo, you're cams look correct.
