Engine Case Numbers Weirdness

I obtained my core from another Pelicanite from an assortment of parts...we did a dry assembly from an assortment of parts he had from many engines. I'd appreciate some help on id'ing what I think I have here...I've tried Wayne's book and I can usually get close (the cams were right) but never 100% right. The parts on hand were thought to be an 81 and an 83. One was Euro, one was not, we thought. I chose the heads with the smaller intakes because I wanted to port them to a specific shape for my Megasquirt conversion and wasn't sure the Euros would be the right shape.

Engine case # 6313110
Engine case part # 930.101.103.4R
Cylinder heads # 930.104.328.3R

Would like to confirm what I've got so I know whats in spec and whats not.

Thanks all

Engine case is from a 1981 SC engine type number 930/10.

The number you've posted for the cylinder head is a casting number not a part number - what are the valve & port sizes ?

Hi Andy,
930.104.328.3R looks like the part number to me, and is similar to the US heads' 930.104.028.05 in Wayne's book. But just like the engine case numbers, they're a little off his reference tables.

The valves are still in the heads, but the intake looks to be 49mm, exhaust 42mm.

Intake port is ~34.5mm, exhaust 38.2.
Believe the casting is K1926c.

thanks
John

Sorry, 35mm on the exhaust port, I was measuring at the flange, not at the inside.

John - valve & port sizes suggest either a '77 3.0 Carrera or '78/'79 SC.

You should be able to see a date code (M/YY) embossed on the heads to the left of the K1926c.

If the port sizes are 34/35 it's likely to be an '80-'83 SC.
