need help on engine failure

Just had shop rebuild motor and I installed the oil cooler and lines after having the lines flushed out and the cooler sent out for cleaning. I did nothing to the the aux cooler thermostat. Also had the tank sent out and had baffels installed and then put the tank in as is back from the shop. My question is where in the oiling system is the oil filtered so I can try to understand where the contamanition entered the crank to seeze the bearing and destroy the motor. We also had the crank sent out for repair and the case sent out for work.
Thanks

Oil is filtered at the oil tank returning from the engine. The oil may come from the engine to the thermo and then to the filter or through the oil cooling circuit and then filtered at the tank...

Sorry to hear about your bad luck...
