Hi Bill:

LOL,..We recently finished a 993 TT engine (627 HP) with Motec M600 interfaced to J&S controlled knock sensors for active feedback and timing control, just like stock. :)

In this case, three engine maps are selectable with different boost levels; street gas, race gas and smog compliance.

Works great.

I have a DTA Pro 8 on my car. I do have some issues with it, like the idle control. But I think that when I figure it out it will be fine. There are no passwords that you have to buy with the DTA. I know the Motec has more features but it costs maybe $2k more than the DTA. So the DTA works fine for me.

Sounds like a great motor. But I would go turbo.:D

I like the feel of a NA motor on the track, that is why I am going this way. I find them easier to drive with my limited experience....... Plus I am a bit of a throttle response junkie!! :) I have read a few of Dean's post about his turbo and am quite impressed though.

Cheers, Jeff

cool stuff to witness first hand

Ollie's is also shuffle pinning quite a few of the Cup motor cases for PMNA and other engine builders. Lots of movement:
