Distributor Q?
Does anyone know if a 1983 930 distributor is the same as a 1983 911SC distributor? I just purchased a 930 distributor from a Pelican to set aside as a spare. Thanks, Rick

The advance curves are entirely different and the Turbo one uses a vacuum boost retard; something the SC one doesn't have.

Steve, Thanks for the reply. I pretty much just wasted $100.00 on a distributor that I can't use. I just wanted to have it sitting on a shelf as a spare. I will try and sell it for the right one.
