CYL Head weld?

Hi,

I will get pictures tonight or tomorrow but wanted to ask this question. I am rebuilding my 3.0sc with ITB's (already on). The config means that the injector path in the head is no longer needed.

Is it worth while welding it up to create an undisturbed path for the fuel.

To add to this the PO has done something to the heads. It looks like he has drilled small holes in some of the heads ( injector path ) and in others put a raised rivet. My only though on this is that he planned to fill in the path with Devcon? maybe.

Cheers

Mark.......

Would need to see pics. Generally speaking the flow of air is one way only there is no need to fill that area.

It could be argued that leaving the space there could help fight reversion in the intake manifold.
