Good Shop in Florida . HELP !!!!!

Hi Guy's
I am in Trouble I bought a 78 Targa with a 3.2 in the for sale section some weeks ago and shipped the car to me to Aruba only to put around 50 miles on it to find out the engine is in trouble ( Oil in the Air Filter Box from the breader hose and on three cyliders the Spark plugs 1,3,and 4 are oily to ) if it is a big Job
I think I have to send the engine back to the US and let some Pro do the work .
The best way for me is to ship the engine on a pallet to a good shop and Florida will be the nearest option for me , anybody can recomend a shop or have any clu what is the problem with my engine ?? PLEAS HELP

Is it possible that the oil level is too high? Check it with the engine up to normal temps. Oil on the plugs, after a ride through the carribean sea, would seem normal. Check the oil level first, then clean the plugs to see if it happened on the way over.

I would clean everything out myself-it may have been a problem introduced by the transportation (low probability but possible), with understanding that could end up doing a top end rebuild at least. It is not clear what you need with the information you have provided. Your CIS is not easy to work on though and an important factor in this situation.

How much of a restoration/refurbishment are you willing to do?

Many shops/people here qualified to rebuild your motor. If I were using a shop to rebuild a motor, I would use JB Racing in Taveres FL (quality Porsche machine shop with a dyno).

PM if you need more referrals.

Regards,
