Tips on racegrapics
Hello, I need some help with the graphics on me racecar. Anybody got some tips of a race inspired look?
I´m very grateful for ideas.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1122244396.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1122244672.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1122244927.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1122245309.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1122246817.jpg |

Very nice! |
shed some light on the motor, we are in the engine forum. those throttle bodies look interesting...
nice car btw. I would do jagermeister graphics for fun or go marlboro |
In my youth, I would select colors for car and graphics first, then the configuration for the graphics/stripes. And using fine line tape start laying stripes/graphics until I satisfied and then tape off and start laying down paint. For a race car, vynil would work too. And today, I would think a lot about it first, then draw it, and finally make my purchases. I like metalics best, and have used candy colors in the past.
What colors are you thinking? How much or little are you seeking in the finished paint scheme. How easy to complete/replicate. Seems like you (or your chosen shop) can paint- can you lay stripes. Would vynil be best for you? Have you made any drawings? How about a wild set of overlapping stripes in similar hues with silver borders and a yellow or blue thrown in to make it really stand out. If you use 6 colors in your stripes, you may have the beginings of a show quality scheme. BTW, she looks strong based on the pics. Good luck. Regards, |
