Is this a Throttle Position Sensor?

Is that a TPS on the side of my throttle body? 3.0 SC, believed to be an 83 TB. Sorry, no part numbers printed on it, but does say "Bosch"

If so, anyone have specs on current/slope, connections?

thanks

Take the cover off. This looks very similar to the one that was on my engine and it was not a true TPS. It may just have a few switches inside, for idle and full throttle positions.

Thanks guys.

Reason is I'm lookin for a TPS signal or location to mount an aftermarket TPS for a second Megasquirt input (to enhance the MAP sensor). Need to know the slope if this is a real potentiometer.

A ford TPS sensor will fit the shaft if you remove that old sensor.

Motec sells these M-518-1 for CounterClockwise rotation or M 518-3 for Clockwise rotation. You also need a connector for it Bosch LK3 and a RB3 sealing boot.
