desperate for emulsion tubes (again)
Ok.. I thought I had the problem resolved but I guess not.
I needed (6) emulsion tubes for my 3 barrel carbs, and was told while on the engine dyno that I needed F33 or F34's. I got help from a pelican-ite and was directed to Pierce manifolds. I bought a set of 33's and received them went to do the install and found out that the 33's don't fit. just got off the phone with pierce manifolds and they confirmed the 33's won't fit the 3 barrel carbs. They told me I have to find 34's and that 34 emulsion tubes will fit. Nobody has them I've tried PMO, Redline, Pierce manifolds. Who else should I try? anyone know of a used stash if I can't find new? (I know this is not a classified page, but I really can't find them) thanks brant |
If they not appear, maybe you will need to drill the 33's to the size of the 34's.

Can that be done? I thought the emulsion tubes functioned by all of the air inlet holes on the sides?
also the F33's don't physically fit into the carbs. They are an inch longer and have a wider body..... so I think I have to return them and either find used or do without. Pierce manifold confirmed that the 33's won't actually fit a 3 barrell carb. I think they were made for a DCOE or some other style of webber. is there another size that one of you experts out there knows of that would be a good substitute? brant |
Since you cross posted, I won't bother posting the information here that I posted on the main forum.
