964 rebuild almost complete
Almost completed my 964 rebuild and am looking at final disassembly pictures for anything I missed, and I found a grommet in the forward engine sheet metal through which the accelerator cable passes. And I don't have that grommet anymore and cannot find it in PET. Anyone have a clue? thanks

Nice looking engine! I have done 3 or 4 3.6 conversions in early cars. I usually take a 4" long piece of rubber hose slit it and ty-wrap it to the throttle cable where it goes through the tin, to keep it from chafing. My car has worked fine for about 4 years, and I've had the engine out a couple times since, no problems found.
