				Port Polishing

Is polishing up the ports piston tops and combustion chamber really worth the hassel? wont it just end up coked up after a few thousand miles or is there things you can do to keep it clean and thus good air flow?

Port, yes. Remember flow to know. Smooth out the short radious and clean away area around the guide. Smoothing, and making the ports flow consistent is what is imporrtant. No polishing. Your pistons will come out of the parts cleaner ready for final cleaning and assembly. Combustion chamber will be coated with carbon immediately. And yes, you will have good air flow. Premium fuel (and occasional fuel additive), and regularly changing the oil is what I do to keep it all clean. Regards,
