Twin plug machining

Hello all.

I am about to set up to machine a big batch of heads for TP.

I do not have an original factory Race head as a pattern...

So I plan to use a 3.6 head and copy the second plug hole position insted.

Does anyone see a problem with this please?
Is there a better postion or alignment for the second plug?

And I guess a 10mm plug is the best compromise between compactness and choice of affordable plugs?
Sorry to ask so many questions, but I'm right out in the sticks and have no local experts..

Kind regards
David
