Smile Back on the road at last!!!!!

So its been almost ayear since the clutch started going & I parked my 85 until I could reclaim my garage from the wifes Trans Am & the mountain of stuff accummulating in every nook & crany!
Retook the garage in early March, cleaned, organized, pitched junk etc....Wow I can almost fit two cars in here!Rebuild started soon after, car up,engine/trans out, parts sent to for corners of the globe from expert refurbishing, parts ordered, payed for & received.Assembly begins, everything going smooth,no major problems, couple small issues easily taken care of.Engine/trans reunited beginning of Sept.,back in car by the 19th.Few thing to take care of before getting ready to fire for first time!
Went out this morning, after builing oil pressure & checking for leak last night.Put battery on charger over night, just in case.Put 5 gallons fresh gas in,plugged in Motronic relay, cranked once, cranked twice, third time was the charm......ITS ALIVE!!!!!!
Broke in cams & stuff for 20 mins.@ 2K.Not a bit of smoke or drop of oil to be seen anywhere! Was a little smoke and burn off on some of the newly painted or cleaned up stuff.Other than that it was SWEET!Now just have to put some miles on her to seat the rings well, but they seem to be preety good so far!
The wife even took it up & washed it while I was getting ready for work tonight!

Just wanted to say THANKS to all who answered questions or offered advice during this project!

Chris

Way to go Chris! It takes a lot to stay with a project like this. Now go seat those rings and enjoy!
