				plastigage residue removal..important?

I performed a crank clearance test a few weeks ago and am now preparing to lay in the crank and close up the case. I tried to clean up the green plastigage (flexigage here in Oz) with a kimwipe and alcohol, but it doesn't seem to want to some up. The bearing surface is showing a little scuffing from the wipe and alcohol, but the plastigage isn't really coming up.

Is this a problem? Can I just lube up the bearings per Wayne's book and lay in the crank? thanks

Nevermind, Carb Cleaner vaporizes the flexigage nicely...
