Flywheel bolt washers?
In the flywheel & crankshaft pulley section of Wayne's book he says "Don't forget to install the flywheel bolt washer (through 1977) directly underneath the bolts if you have the six-bolt flywheel."
However I didn't have any such washers on my factory-installed flywheel in my '75 2.7 engine, nor are there any shown in the parts catalog pictures of the flywheel and bolts. And Pelican Parts doesn't list/show a flywheel bolt washer. So do the bolts go on with or without a washer? Is the washer a later mod? Jack |

A better term for this part would be washer plate; it is a single larger steel disc with holes drilled for the flywheel screws. Your car's clutch system should have one; if it's missing order a new one.
