Bavaria911 needs some EXPERTS Advice!!

Gents,
Need a little help .
I will rebuild my 2.4 motor in the future and if I do the job or Henry , I believe that I should replace the standard oil pump for the one in the picture. Here is what I know about the oil pump:

+ This pump was purchased new about 10 years ago and was installed in a 2.7 R/S spec engine.
+ This past spring the engine suffered the classic 4th to 3rd gear upshift resulting in an over rev and damaged valves.
+ The engine is being reconfigured and no longer requries this pump.
+ No more than 20k miles was put on this unit .

The pump is for sale, what is the going rate for one????
Also - what modifications must be done to the case...if any??

Thanks,
Bavaria

The pump in the picture is an early style pump and not what I would choose if there were other options.
The 908 or 4 bar pump would be more suitable.

The case will need CaseSavers and an oil pump by-pass modification.
