Painting Engine Shroud

Thinking of painting my engine shroud during my rebuild. It has changed color from probably red, to orange.

It's off '82 so it's fiberglass. I was thinking of just using high temp paint. Any other suggestions.

I'm guess'n I'll use a few cans of break clean to get all oil and grime off...

Krylon Fusion is cheap, easy and made to bond to plastic.
We've been using Krylon for years.

Great. Thx Gents. Any other Krylon type suggestoins out there? ...Chris' (Autobahn) carbon fiber is nice! Matter of fact in my own back yard, but little more than I'm looking for now.

I don't think powder coating works on non-metallic materials.

I know you can base coat clear coat, works on mine

I've used regular Krylon (so-so) and the fusion that Henry mentioned with much better results. Single stage automotive paint works well too, but harder to do at home...
