Where's camgrinder.....

I know you're watching. What's it gonna be?

TonyG

camgrinder 12-06-2005 08:45 PM

288.8 HP

TonyG 12-06-2005 09:17 PM

camgrinder

No hydraulic. Full mechanical.

I will run the dyno pulls 500 rpms past the peak HP readings. The top end is good (supposedly) for 8,000 rpms.

Gonna be interesting.......

At the wheels

That would be pretty amazing... 400hp from a 2 valves 3.6L aircooled N/A engine....

Not even the 3.8 RSR reached 111HP/liter ....

Dennis Kalma 12-07-2005 03:30 PM

262.7.....but hoping you have more!

afterburn 549 12-07-2005 04:11 PM

Lets see....1 L will put out a ez 60 hp times 3.5 some wheres around 210 plus additives (cam and ect good for some more.....dont know all you tricks).....but on the conservative you have to be 300 so all those guesses are taken and I needs a number here !!!....that's my formula and I am sticken to it.

You have two posts, both containing a "guess". Neither will count.

You have to only have 1 post that contains your guess.

Also, the power is SAE Corrected at the wheels (not engine HP).

cgarr 12-07-2005 04:39 PM

302.66

Walko 12-07-2005 04:51 PM

If you allow that they get to 100Hp per litre then you get 360 at the flywheel allow for a %loss through the drive train and assuming the correct ramp rate is used then I would say

272.72 RWHP

No problem...

Just make sure you're clear on your posts.

Additionally, you can change your guess at any time before I "call" the end of the contest (see rules).
