What ever happened to CMW?

Does anyone know what happened with this company? I remember reading some patent literature about their particular cylinder head designs. Just kind of curious.

That is a new site, I was sure they moved into some Japanses stuff. Hmmm, maybe I am thinking of some other place that made billet heads......

I know they do a lot of Japanese stuff these days. Bob was recently building engines for an American Lemans Series Mazda Protoge.
They also build NHRA pro stock engines, Scott has an NHRA Alcohol funny car, and they do a lot of dyno work. They are also set up to CNC port cylinder heads too. I have seen some of the 3.6 litre stuff. Very nice and not as expensive as the billet heads.

I have a friend that was racing NHRA Pro Stock with Warren Johnson and as one of Darryl Alderman's team mates latter. Out of curiosity, do you know who is building engines for?

They are still alive and strong. I do alot of business with them, as I've been making cylinders custom for them for about a year and a half so that they could focus on their heads and their new oil business, CMW Oil. Their CMW Racing sight was hi-jacked some time ago without their knowledge, so they ended up with the CMW Motorsports domain. If anyone needs anything in particular from them, let me know, as I set up our Nickies for their sealing ring and groove and some of our customers have used their heads with great success on our cylinders.

CMW Motorsports Doing Just Fine

CMW Motorsports is doing just fine. We have been busy building other racing engines for other series and doing resesearch and development for different race teams. Today we are mainly focusing on manufacturing our billet heads and valve train. For Porsche we offer a NEW 4.2Liter Turbocharged Engine Aircooled.

We also have another company CMW Oil Company. Which produces many lubricants for rod and camshafts manufactures. We also have specialty lubricants in Busch & Cup cars. We are also heavily in the indutrial market as well

You can reach us @ www.cmwmotorsports.com & www.cmwoil.com.

We want to wish everybody a happy new year

Cheers

Thanks for posting, can you email me with a price on a set of heads for my 3.4 that I am building based on a 3.2? They would need to be set up for twin plugging.

Thanks, Jeff
