Piston C clip

Where on earth can you buy these?I don't see them here at Pelican. I seem to have lost one for my 3.0 CIS pistons.

I got some for my 2.7 from Automobile Atlanta (www.***********.com).

Is there a local engine builder/tuner in your home town? Or a Porsche dealer?

Good luck.

I call around to some dealers. My local guy didn't have any for a 3.0.

Thanks!

Your dealer should be able to get any part for you overnight! If they can get them into canada overnight from the same US warehouse your dealer is getting them from......

Cheers

What's your address? I've got some extras free....

bbh03 12-29-2005 01:29 PM

John, that's very kind of you, thanks! I'm going to call the local dealer first to save you the trouble. If they don't have it, I'll PM you my address.

Can someone provide me the part number for these clips.
For a 3.0

Thank You
Vinny

Well for the sake of the database, I found the part# but it's NLA

If anyone would be kind enough to sell me some of these I would really appreciate it. Looking for about 10

IF not available from www.pelicanparts.com, EBS has all kinds of goodies in stock usually... I would try them.

As a side note...when I first starting putting in the clips on my 3.2 it seemed impossible....as I got the hang of it and developed a method to keep the clip in the grove as I went around I was almost able to do it with just my fingers....

hard to explain....just get it started and keep as much as possible of the ring in the grove as you go around..maybe my 3.2 piston clips are different..
