I think your much better off sending the pistons to Swain tec and having them coated. You will get more HP and less detonation. Coatings will actually do something other than lighten your wallet or wear out your dremel. Same for the valves and heads, coat everything.

Caution, many coatings are not worth anything, only Swain and two other companies have legit coating systems.

for my diesel stuff there is a out fit on the E. coast that dose mine and lots of others (ceramic top, molly sides) the only problem is I never have taken it back dwn to see if it lasted..........supposed to. I run the EGT way up and others run higher ( over 1500 !) and all is well.
You herd anything bad about the E coast guys Snowman??? now I am nervous you said there are only three ??

I hesitate to name bad ones, as I clearly do not know for sure. I do know the best is Swain, and it is totally legit. Some of the others have coatings that are nothing more than high temp paint, and it dosen't work. Read the Swain history of coatings, they name the good ones.
