Block height of a 911

Hi,

I am working on some pistons for my 911 racer. I need to know block height (distance from the centerline of the crank to the top of the cylinders.

Anyone.

Thanks

Ed

I think you'll need to be more specific...bore, stroke, type of case, type of engine, etc, etc.

The distance from the centerline of the crankshaft to the top of the cylinders should be a standard dimension (for the 65 - 89 anyway) or else you would have problems with chain tower height et al.

I am looking at a standard 2.2L setup though.

Thanks

Ed

Cylinder heights are listed in the spec books so if you could get the distance from the case parting line to the top of the spigot opening you could figire out the total. My books don't go back that far.
