Plate on right?...and gratituitous engine shot...

Even after this informative thread...Sump plate on wrong?

I would appreciate confirmation the plate/screen is on right...



...and who hasn't gotten the heads on and felt the need to balance the fan and shroud on there....almost done!

I assume your asking where the drain plug goes (orientation wise). I've always seen it on the driver side however I have mine in the rear (for no good reason). I'm sure it matters but I've never seen it mentioned in a Porsche Manual.

Wayne's book states to make sure it does not interfere (the drain plug) with the pump pick up. Orient it so it is furthest from the pickup.

I think what you have in the egine compartment now is prettier than any engine I have ever seen.
