Rejected rocker shaft
I was inspecting rocker shafts before reinstalling and came across this one. The one groove is 1.5mm wide as it should be, the other is 0.1mm at its widest point. Have people seen this before? I suspect this is what happens when someone overtorques the rocker shaft bolt.

More likely to be a manufacturing defect or from pounding the shaft out; I have my doubts one could collapse the groove with the torque one can achieve with 5 mm hex key.

I had one with the exact same problem. I noticed this when I tried to put on the RSR seals and one didn't fit. I remember when I was dissasembling the cam carrier that one of the shafts was really difficult to remove (required the freezer and a blow torch). I assume it deformed during it's removal. Obviously you should replace it.
Cheers
