Sprocket alignment-am I doing it right?

You need to bolt it to the intermediate shaft cover and use a something more accurate than a carpenter's rule. I use a some calipers.

Where did you guys get the straight-edge and fixture tool??

Stomski Racing makes them. Pelican may sell them (call first). I got mine from the local german tool truck.

You also looked to be measureing to the spring washer not the face of the sprocket.
